Beams, Columns, and Footings - Foundation Plan

This is the foundation plan for the house that I am designing. The hardest part about making the foundation plan was aligning the beams with the exterior wall because it would snap back to where it was before. The foundation plan is important because it provides the builders the information to make the house structurally sound. Without the foundation plan the builder would not be able to build a house that adheres to the building codes of the location of the house.

Outlets and Lights - Electical Plan

This is the electrical plan that will go into my house. It shows all of the different circuits that are required to get the house to have convenient switches for all of the lights. The hardest part about developing the electical plan was trying to figure out how to put lights on the staircase that is between the first and second floor.

The electical plan is important because is allows the builders to see where outlets and lights are supposed to go, and it shows the type of switches that will be used for each light.
